The Maryland State Tree Nursery has identified 15 species of native trees and shrubs from which they need seeds collected. Learn how to identify these priority plant species to help with collection efforts this fall.

Handout on identifying Maryland priority plant species
Directions on how to use online tools to share locations of priority species with us.
Details on how to collect seeds this fall and upcoming group seed collection events.
Seed collection supplies and labels for individual collection
What to bring:
Mobile device or camera
Tree/plant ID book, if you have a favorite but not required.
Personal notebook
Binoculars, optional
