Help provide needed maintenance on tree shelters planted at the Albert Powell Trout Hatchery on Beaver Creek. Training and supplies will be provided.

We will work with other volunteers from other organizations to help remove tree tubes and gather them for recycling or disposal.

Meet and park at the Route 66 Park & Ride (just north of I-70 interchange with MD 66). A shuttle will be provided to take you to site. We will start at 9:30 am and continue until work is complete. Please wear proper clothing, long sleeve, boots and bring gloves. Also, bring your own water bottle and lunch.

Many trees in Fairgrounds Park, Hagerstown and neighboring streets are in need of some general maintenance. Help remove old staking, weed, mulch, and provide much needed care to these hard working trees in harsh urban environments. Rain date will be the following day.
